We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to work as a Freezer Hand. As one of Australia's largest poultry producers, our company is well known for its production of premium products.

This role offers an immediate start on afternoon shift (2:40pm - 10pm). In this position, you will be responsible for:

Product Palletising

  • Palletising finished products
  • Allocating pallets to the appropriate areas
  • Assisting with loading of trucks
  • Using pallet jacks to manoeuvre stock around the workplace
  • Working in a refrigerated environment (temperatures approximately -16 degrees)
  • Performing manual handling-oriented tasks within strict policies, procedures and timeframes

The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience in a similar role, such as manual handling, distribution/warehousing, etc. A current forklift licence is advantageous. You will also need:

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and computer skills
  • To be able to work in a refrigerated environment
  • A reliable vehicle and drivers' licence
  • To be physically fit, as all positions are fast paced, repetitive and manual handling orientated
