Senior E&I Project Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior E&I Project Engineer to join our team in Perth. This position will play a crucial role in enhancing our portfolios within the Metals and Minerals EPCM sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Lead Project Engineer to deliver within project scope while monitoring progress to ensure adherence to the project schedule and budget parameters.
- Proactively managing project scope changes, assessing impacts on quantity, cost, and timeline to maintain project integrity and client satisfaction.
- Fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring open communication and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Interfacing with discipline engineers to ensure procurement and contracts strategies and requirements are met.
- Coordinating and expediting procurement and contracts package market engagements and quotation requests.
- Conducting technical and commercial reviews to ensure compliance with project goals.
- Managing third-party consultants to the project schedule and budget, including all project technical interfaces and requirements.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Relevant EPCM/EPC experience, particularly in managing switchroom manufacturing and site EI&C supply and installation contracts.
- An Electrical Engineering degree from a recognized tertiary institution or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in mining and minerals studies and/or projects, showcasing a deep understanding of the sector.
- Proven background in process plants and mining projects, with essential experience in operations or construction.
- Significant expertise in project scheduling, planning, cost control, estimating, and reporting, ensuring effective project execution.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling the effective resolution of complex project challenges.
- Commitment to safety excellence, with a proven track record of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero Harm environment.
