Examination Supervisor

The University of Queensland is seeking casual examination supervisors to support the delivery of exams across various campuses. As an examination supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring all students have the opportunity to sit exams under optimal conditions.

• Supervise student seating arrangements and assist with student direction and seating allocation.
• Verify student identification and manage examination materials, including attendance forms and question papers.
• Monitor student behavior and address inquiries during exams, ensuring compliance with examination regulations.
• Operate basic audiovisual equipment and computers within examination venues.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as instructed by the Chief Supervisor or Senior Administrative Officers, Examinations.

• Setting up and preparing electronic equipment and devices for digital exams.
• Employing troubleshooting protocols to address minor technical issues on students' devices as needed.
• Logging technical issues promptly using a personal smartphone during exam sessions.

• Physical fitness and mental agility to maintain exam support duties while standing or walking for extended periods.
• Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic exam environment.
• Strong team player with a commitment to reliability.
• Proficiency in technology and computer literacy, including email communication, basic AV equipment operation, and online form completion.
• Effective communication skills to interact professionally with students from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities.
