Delivering high-quality environmental services requires a deep understanding of environmental impact assessment and management principles.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our Brisbane team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in consulting, government or industry, with a strong background in environmental science, town planning, engineering or related fields.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing environmental approvals projects across multiple industries, providing expert advice on best practice environmental impact assessment and management principles, and developing and implementing team business plans and strategies.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance on environmental impact assessments and management practices
  • Lead environmental approvals projects across various sectors
  • Develop and implement business strategies for the team
  • Maintain effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary project teams to deliver projects
  • Prepare high-quality reports and presentations
  • Undertake occasional travel for field assessments and site inspections

Requirements:

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Town Planning, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in environmental roles within consulting, industry or regulation
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary projects
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Knowledge of Queensland and Commonwealth environmental legislation and policies
  • Experience working in sectors such as linear infrastructure, mining/resources, renewables, power or agribusiness
  • Australian citizenship or rights to work in Australia
