Job Overview

This role is for a full-time Sketch Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the sales department to produce high-quality sketch designs for new homes across Perth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve design and construction challenges, ensuring seamless project execution and timely delivery.
  • Provide expert design input and guidance to senior consultants, driving innovation and excellence in residential drafting.
  • Create detailed ArchiCAD sketches based on design consultant briefs, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to the design of premium display homes, focusing on aesthetics, functionality, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Residential Drafting or Diploma of Building Design & Technology, demonstrating expertise in building information modeling (BIM) software and architecture.
  • At least 3 years' residential drafting experience with a Perth project builder using ArchiCAD, showcasing a strong understanding of local regulations and market trends.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, R-Codes, and NCC requirements, ensuring compliance and quality assurance.
  • Creative eye with attention to detail, combined with excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively and maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
