Product Manager Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team in delivering key P&L and customer-focused outcomes for our CommSec product portfolio. Reporting to the Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for building and leveraging stakeholder relationships to support the implementation of our product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage one or more products, ensuring delivery of initiatives on the product roadmap through strong individual performance and team collaboration across all stakeholders.
  • Successfully manage the product P&L and customer outcomes, supporting CommSec Products in developing and maintaining market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights.
  • Ensure product compliance with regulatory obligations and relevant Group Policies and Standards.
  • Analyse data and financial metrics to measure product performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, manage risks associated with the product, and remediation initiatives.
  • Understand the needs of our customers, including pain points, to drive change and deliver customer and business outcomes.
  • Manage and monitor change to continuously improve the product offering and processes, facilitating the overall customer experience and providing recommendations to improve results.

Skill Requirements

  • A self-starter using your product management experience to help us maintain our position as the leading online broker in the market.
  • Previous product management and product development experience, or experience with CommSec / Investing Products, Processes, and Systems is highly desirable.
  • A passion for customer-centric product design.
  • Strategic skills and business acumen with demonstrated success in leading and executing on projects.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and management capabilities, requiring the ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities – comfortable investigating and providing recommended options/solutions to complex problems and technical nuances.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and able to work flexibly through change.
  • Experience working in an agile environment and enjoying collaborating with others.
  • Hold an RG146 accreditation, or tertiary-related qualification in a finance or business discipline setting you apart from the competition.

Estimated Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. We offer a competitive salary package, bonuses, and a range of benefits to support your career growth and well-being.
