Senior Mental Health Educator

The role of a Nurse Educator involves leading and collaborating with teams to develop curricula and learning resources that enhance student learning experiences.
- Develop and implement effective unit curricula and learning resources that cater to different levels and modes of delivery.
- Contribute to the review and refinement of courses, incorporating industry, clinical, and research-based practices.
- Apply innovative curriculum design and deliver learner-centric teaching practices that promote engagement and success.
- Support and lead research and creative activities, including external funding opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective unit curricula and learning resources.
- Contribute to the review and refinement of courses.
- Apply industry, clinical, and/or research practice to enhance student learning experiences.
- Deliver learner-centric, research-informed teaching practices.
- Support and lead research and creative activities.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a registered nurse.
- Postgraduate qualification in mental health and mental health nursing experience.
- PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience.
- Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs, including innovative curriculum design.
- Emerging reputation in research and scholarship through publications and/or exhibitions and/or success in obtaining external research funding.
