Job Title: Ai Driven Threat Intelligence Specialist

About the Role

Cerebras Systems' innovative architecture unlocks new opportunities for AI. As a Detection and Response Engineer, you will develop systems to detect threats, investigate incidents, and lead coordinated response across teams.

You will create and optimize detections, playbooks, and workflows to quickly identify and respond to potential incidents. Investigation involves examining security events and participating in incident response, including on-call responsibilities.

Automate investigation and response workflows to reduce time to detect and remediate incidents. Develop detection and response capabilities as code, applying modern software engineering rigor.

Explore emerging approaches, potentially leveraging AI, to strengthen our security posture. Document investigation and response procedures as clear runbooks for triage, escalation, and containment.

Qualifications and Skills
  1. 3–5 years of experience in detection engineering, incident response, or security engineering.
  2. Strong proficiency in Python and query languages such as SQL, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  3. Practical knowledge of detection and response across cloud, identity, and endpoint environments.
  4. Familiarity with attacker behaviors and the ability to translate them into durable detection logic.
  5. Strong fundamentals in operating systems, networking, and log analysis.
  6. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to create clear documentation.
