Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated medical professional to join our Upper GI team as a Service Registrar. This is a full-time 3-year contracted role, commencing on 02/02/2026 and concluding on 02/02/2029.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment and management of patients under the care of the department, working closely with Consultants, Fellows, and Senior Registrars. You'll play a vital role in reviewing inpatient referrals, assessing new presentations in the Emergency Department and wards, and supporting the ongoing care of surgical patients.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll have daily interactions across various internal departments including Radiology, Pathology, and Emergency, ensuring seamless patient care and coordination. You'll also provide respectful and informative communication to patients, families, and community practitioners.
