About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Electorate Officer A to join our team in the Australian Government. As an Electorate Officer A, you will play a critical role in supporting the Member of Parliament in engaging with constituents and providing exceptional service to the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Constituent Support
    • Ensure constituents receive timely and effective support through their interactions with the Electorate Office.
    • Work with constituents to navigate available resources and services, and undertake referrals as necessary.
  • Communication and Correspondence
    • Manage constituent enquiries and prepare correspondence and communications.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of constituent interactions.
  • Community Engagement
    • Attend community events and engage with stakeholders to build relationships and promote the Member's work.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with community groups and organizations to support the Member's engagement with the community.
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to the Member and other staff as required.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of correspondence, meetings, and other interactions.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
