Reporting to the Superintendent \u2013 Mine Scheduling, the role will work with a team of Engineers to produce optimised schedules that will enable operations to deliver superior performance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders and customers to discuss and develop mine plan inputs, review mining sequences, support the management of equipment interaction and produce a set of plan outputs that enable the operations team to understand and value the mine plan;
* Participate in site safety routines and demonstrate a proactive safety culture;
* Deliver a weekly mine schedule to maximise value and meet business objectives;
* Communicate equipment interactions and enabling activities in the mine schedule;
* Deliver a weekly haulage plan to the operations team;
* Monitor monthly compliance to plan and design compliance;
* Integrate the weekly mine schedule into a rolling 18 month mine plan;

Requirements:

* Tertiary education in mining engineering or equivalent;
* Experience working as a mining engineer;
* Strong working knowledge of Spry, Deswik, 3D Dig (preferred but not essential);
* Exceptional communication skills;
* High levels of organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills;
