Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and deliver exceptional guest experiences at Cape Lodge, a renowned restaurant in the Margaret River wine region.
The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, service standards, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of front-of-house staff to provide impeccable service to our guests.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to synchronize service with food preparation and presentation.
- Develop and implement service standards and procedures to meet or exceed guest expectations.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, suppliers, and partners.
- Manage budgets and financial targets, including forecasting and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including health and safety, liquor licensing, and food safety.
- Foster a positive team culture and develop training programs to enhance staff performance.
- Continuously seek to improve service standards and guest experiences through innovation and experimentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a senior management role in the hospitality industry, with a focus on high-level restaurant operations.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- A deep understanding of food, wine, and beverage service, with a focus on creating memorable experiences for our guests.
