Job Title:

Martial Arts Coach

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced martial artists to coach our students in various forms such as Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Boxercise, and Self Defence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in martial arts coaching and experience working with children. You will be responsible for leading training sessions, creating engaging lesson plans and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality martial arts coaching to students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Lead and conduct all training sessions with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in martial arts coaching or competing at a national level.
  • Working with Children Check - WWCC (Paid).
  • Child Protection Training (Preferred).
  • First Aid + CPR Training (Preferred).

Additional Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with students, staff, administrators, and parents/guardians.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle confidential matters with tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Schedule:

  • Morning positions available from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM.
  • In-school time positions available from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • After-school positions available from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
  • Midweek and weekend work available.
  • Programs across school holidays available.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in martial arts coaching or competing at a national level.
  • Working with Children Check - WWCC (Paid).
  • Child Protection Training (Preferred).
  • First Aid + CPR Training (Preferred).
