We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Workforce Australia for Individuals. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hire, Train, and Supervise Staff
  • Schedule shifts and manage staff performance to ensure high standards of customer service.
  • Address and resolve employee issues and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction
  • Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Financial Management
  • Prepare and manage budgets, including payroll and operating expenses, to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Marketing and Promotion
  • Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Food Quality and Presentation
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meet established standards to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance
  • Monitor cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant premises to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a similar high-volume casual dining venue.
  • Possession of a highly relevant Certificate IV (or equivalent).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment.
  • Preference will be placed on applicants with unrestricted work rights.
  • Above all else, have a passion for great food and great customer service.
