About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Product Development Lead to join our team at FIS.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of product strategy, market trends, and client goals. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of financial services industry and general IT knowledge with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.

The successful candidate will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps, Architects to design, build, implement and test quality technical or functional solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Gain a thorough understanding of product strategy, market, industry, and client goals.
  2. Work with stakeholders to understand business problem statements and convert them into user stories.
  3. Articulate product vision and user stories in a manner clearly understandable to development teams.
  4. Manage backlog of user stories for one or more projects/features.
  5. Establish user story acceptance criteria, accepts user stories, refines stories with Scrum teams.
  6. Review and provide feedback on test plans to ensure application changes meet acceptance criteria.
  7. Create Sprint Release Plans with input from development teams.
  8. Monitor the development progress and provides updates to stakeholders as requested.
  9. Lead planning and review meetings to communicate feedback on development achievements.

  2. General IT knowledge, be able to communicate technical concepts concisely and effectively.
  3. Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  4. Strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts.
  5. Sound analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  6. A high degree of numeracy and a capacity for complex concepts.
  7. Ability to work well in a team and independently under minimum supervision.
  8. Ability to work under pressure, achieve deadlines and effectively prioritise concurrent tasks.
