Assistant Manager Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. As a key member of our store leadership, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and fostering a positive work environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire their team to achieve outstanding results. They will also have a keen eye for detail, ensuring seamless store operations and maintaining high standards of presentation and stock control.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). You will also be expected to monitor and analyze store sales performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

A successful Assistant Manager will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively coach and mentor their team members. They will also have a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on operational excellence and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Performance: Supporting the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and KPIs, while monitoring and analyzing store sales performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Team Leadership: Motivating and inspiring the team to deliver outstanding results in sales and customer experience.
  • Roster Management: Managing rosters and wage spend to meet company targets and operational efficiency.
  • Stock Control: Overseeing stock levels, store presentation, shrinkage control, and operational excellence.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a senior casual or supervisor in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a team and deliver strong results in sales and KPIs.
  • Coaching Ability: A proactive, hands-on leader with a passion for coaching others.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for customer experience and working with premium product.
