Lead Educator Position

This is a key role within our Early Learning Centre where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality early childhood education.

  • The successful candidate will lead a team of educators to implement developmentally appropriate programs that align with our educational standards.
  • They will foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Curriculum Implementation: Design and execute educational programs that reflect best practices in early childhood education, catering to the individual interests and developmental stages of children.
  2. Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of educators, promoting professional growth and ensuring cohesive delivery of educational programs.
  3. Child Development: Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and planning individualized learning experiences.
  4. Family Engagement: Build strong partnerships with families, communicating regularly about children's experiences and development.
  5. Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain a safe, hygienic, and organized learning environment.
  6. Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional learning opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A diploma or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification recognized by relevant authorities.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an early childhood education setting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of child development principles and application in early learning environments.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Current certification in first aid, CPR, asthma, and anaphylaxis.
