The Housing Advice Line Specialist role is pivotal to assisting individuals with disabilities and their supporters in understanding options available to them in the disability housing market.

This specialist will deliver a high-impact phone advice line service for individuals with disabilities, their supporters, and stakeholders working within the disability housing sector. The service assists them in connecting with resources to better understand housing journeys and engage with other products and services.

This role requires someone who can raise awareness, build capacity, and provide information to participants, supporters, and allied health professionals.

About the Role

  • Respond to enquiries and questions from NDIS participants and their supporters.
  • Triage enquiries and connect with other products and services where appropriate.
  • Assist with design and implementation of data dashboards and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to complex enquiries from NDIS participants and their supporters.
  • Triage enquiries and refer to relevant support services as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop solutions and recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Allied health or disability relevant qualifications and/or relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in the disability sector working with individuals with complex support needs.
  • Knowledge of the NDIS, NDIA policy, and processes.
