Specialist Teacher Opportunity

The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and delivering specialist programs in PE or STEM across Primary-6 (anticipated 14 classes).

We have an incredibly strong wellbeing program, focusing on building relationships and catering to the diverse needs of our students. Our approach has seen our students achieve fantastic results through a curriculum that combines the Science of Reading (SoR) and Talk for Writing (T4W) approaches.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs
  • Develop and implement high-impact teaching strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching strategies

**Selection Criteria:**

  1. Demonstrated knowledge of relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy skills
  2. Experience in responding to student learning needs
  3. Ability to plan and implement high-impact teaching strategies
  4. Experience in monitoring and assessing student learning
  5. Interpersonal and communication skills
  6. Behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values
