Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Accountant to join our Operations team in Australia & Asia Pacific West (APAC WEST). This is an opportunity to contribute to our expanding Operations business, delivering Brownfield's engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the Energy industry.

About the Role: As a Senior Project Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial project management and administration support to internal and external stakeholders. You will have a customer-focused approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to discuss issues clearly and concisely at all levels within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial project management and administration support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports to support project decision-making.
  • Manage project budgets, expenses, and variances, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring project delivery within budget and schedule.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or professional qualifications in Finance/Accounting from a recognised institution.
  • 2+ years of relevant project accounting experience, preferably in the Energy industry.
  • CA or CPA qualification (or currently working towards).
  • Proficiency in the use of Excel, ERP, and other IT systems.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to manage varying tasks with often changing and competing priorities.
