Job Opportunity: Graduate Analyst

The Reserve Bank of Australia Note Issue Department is seeking a skilled Graduate Analyst to join their team.

  • This role involves working on exciting projects, including the redesign of the $5 banknote to honour the culture and history of First Nations Peoples.

The Note Issue Department is responsible for developing new banknote designs and ensuring the supply of high-quality banknotes meets community demand. This role focuses on the ongoing $5 Redesign project to acknowledge the culture and history of First Nations Peoples.

  • You will provide advice based on research and analysis, contributing to the preparation of papers, briefing notes and reports for Senior Leaders.
  • Apply writing skills, sound judgement and critical thinking skills to support analysis and drafting of project documents.
  • Work closely with legal and procurement teams to aid in the preparation of legal agreements and contracts for projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to execute the objectives of Note Issue.
  • Undertake analysis to inform the ongoing development of banknote strategy and policy.
  • Complete your 2-year Graduate Program within the Banknote Strategy and Engagement team in Note Issue.
  • Influence projects and policy related to secure and reliable banknotes that affect the lives of all Australians.
  • Participate in the RBA Graduate Program and core graduate training alongside peers from other graduate programs at the Reserve Bank of Australia.
