Job Description


We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cash Assistant to join our team. As a Cash Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that your section/store is adequately stocked and well-merchandised to maximise sales. This will involve crushing cardboard, pulling forward merchandise, and maintaining a high level of presentation standards in your work area.



Main Responsibilities



  • Stocking and Replenishment: Ensure that shelves and displays are fully stocked and rotated regularly to maintain a high level of merchandising and presentation standards.
  • Merchandising and Presentation: Maintain a neat and tidy workspace, including crushing cardboard and keeping trolleys, ladders, and boxes to one side.
  • Cash Handling: Operate and balance the cash register accurately and efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, answering queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively as part of a small team, contributing to a positive and supportive working environment.
