Mobile Dysphagia and Communication Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Dysphagia and Communication Specialist to join our team of experienced clinicians. As an adult-serving Speech Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with clients living in residential aged care facilities and the local community.
This part-time or casual position offers flexibility, allowing you to choose your work hours and locations. You will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing clients' swallowing and communication difficulties, providing high-quality mobile Speech Pathology services, and liaising with our national team of Speech Pathologists.
Key Responsibilities- Managing your calendar of appointments to suit your flexible schedule
- Assessing and diagnosing clients' swallowing and communication difficulties
- Potential for national travel to support clients in regional locations
- Providing telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention
- Liaising with our close-knit national team of Speech Pathologists
- Advocating for support for clients with communication difficulties
- Working closely with organisational staff, support coordinators, and colleagues to ensure optimum care needs are met
- Providing consultative and educational support to clients, their families, and colleagues
- A professional qualification in Speech Pathology with an active membership of Speech Pathology Australia
- A valid driver's licence and reliable form of transport for potential national travel
- A commitment to delivering high-quality mobile Speech Pathology services

What We Offer- A competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
