We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grade 4 Physiotherapist to lead our Advanced Practice Physiotherapy services at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and innovative physiotherapist to drive the provision of high-quality physiotherapy services to our patients. As a Grade 4 Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for leading the Advanced Practice Physiotherapy Stream, working closely with our Physiotherapy Manager and senior clinicians to develop and implement clinical strategies that improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Advanced Practice Physiotherapy Stream, developing and implementing clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior physiotherapists and students
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including medical staff, patients, and families
  • Contribute to the development of clinical education programs for staff and students
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years clinical experience as a physiotherapist
  • Completion of a relevant postgraduate qualification, such as a Master's degree
  • Expert clinical knowledge and skills in physiotherapy management and clinical service provision
  • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
