About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead our headspace Centre in Murray Bridge and Victor Harbor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an integrated model of clinic-based health service delivery to young people in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Governance: Develop, implement, and review the Clinical Governance Framework to ensure high-quality clinical service delivery.
  • Service Leadership: Oversee clinical services across both headspace locations, ensuring service excellence through effective leadership and management of Team Leaders and clinical staff.
  • Mental Health Programs: Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of mental health programs.
  • Team Supervision: Provide supervision, professional development, and support to clinical team leaders and staff.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with consortium partners, service providers, and community stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
  • Financial Management: Manage program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and that programs operate within budgetary constraints.
  • Client Support: Ensure timely and appropriate responses to client inquiries, complaints, and support the Community Engagement team in promoting mental health services within the community.
  • Compliance: Ensure all services meet statutory and contractual obligations.
  • WHS: Promote a safe work environment by implementing and monitoring WHS policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities, including the development of strategic plans, internal evaluations, and compliance with national standards.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading clinics and clinicians across both public and private health settings.
  • Mental Health Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mental health diagnostic and classification systems.
  • Qualifications: Qualifications in business or health management are viewed favourably.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership and management abilities with a track record of success.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven skills in decision making, problem solving, time management, and setting priorities to achieve program outcomes.
