About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team in a dynamic research environment.

As a key member of the Intelligent Systems for State and Societal Resilience Research Hub (ISSSRH), you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that address complex societal challenges.

  • Support the ISSSRH and other nominated projects upon supervisor request.
  • Develop visualizations for complex data, including large datasets.
  • Create data sets for testing and demonstration purposes.
  • Verify and deploy programs, systems, and assist with maintaining the development environment.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent time-management, communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills, meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience providing effective customer service and support to clients.
  • Ability to make sound judgments and work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of coding languages (C++, Java, Python).
  • Knowledge of databases and scripting.
