About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Capability Lead to join our team at The State of Queensland. As a key member of our Data and Artificial Intelligence team, you will play a critical role in driving the adoption of AI to enhance service delivery and innovation across government agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement AI capabilities to support the creation of a robust AI capability framework
  • Design and deliver digital capability uplift programs, including creating self-paced, one-on-one, and group-based learning activities
  • Engage with senior government officials and manage organisational change related to AI adoption
  • Evaluate risks and develop mitigation plans related to educational delivery
  • Communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of emerging AI technologies, particularly Generative AI
  • Experience in designing and delivering digital capability uplift programs
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex AI concepts
  • Proven ability to evaluate risks and develop mitigation plans
