About the Role

The Catholic Education Rockhampton is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Boarding Cleaner. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our boarding facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all areas of the boarding facilities are clean and tidy, including dormitories, common areas, and bathrooms.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the boarding facilities.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the relevant authorities.
Requirements
  • A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice is a requirement of the position.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
  • Australian work rights.
