We are currently seeking applications from experienced Dewatering Mechanical Fitters for upcoming opportunities in the Pilbara mine sites.

Job Overview

In our pursuit of a sustainable future, we're looking for passionate and driven individuals who can contribute to our mission. This role is responsible for routine servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repairs on generators and diesel pumps, prioritizing and attending breakdowns to ensure minimal downtime.

The ideal candidate will have experience in diesel trades, either light or heavy vehicle trade, with self-motivation and ability to work in a strong team environment as well as individually. Strong organisational and communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. The successful candidate will also demonstrate strong safety values and have experience with computer-based systems such as BMS and SAP.

This position requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, ensuring that equipment is functioning optimally and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be proactive and able to troubleshoot complex problems, making quick decisions to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Routine servicing and maintenance of generators and diesel pumps
  • Prioritization and attendance of breakdowns to minimize downtime
  • Diagnostics and fault finding to identify and resolve technical issues
Qualifications and Experience
  • Diesel trade background in light or heavy vehicle trade
  • Self-motivated and ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated safety values
  • Experience with computer-based systems (BMS, SAP)
