Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Principal Town Planner to lead our planning operations and manage a team of professionals. The successful candidate will have a strong background in town planning, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.

About the Role
- Lead and manage planning operations, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality output.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and local councils.
- Provide strategic planning advice and technical support on complex development projects.
- Develop and mentor junior staff, fostering professional growth and ensuring the team's ongoing success.
- Drive business development initiatives to grow the Planning Business Unit and align with the company's strategic objectives.

What You'll Need
- 10+ years' experience in town planning and development, with a focus on development applications, master planning, and strategic land use planning.
- Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning, with eligibility for membership with the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA).
- Extensive experience in managing planning teams, with a deep understanding of Queensland planning legislation and local planning schemes.
