About the Role

We are seeking an experienced logistics professional to join our team as a full-time Transport Supervisor. Based at Riverview, the successful candidate will have a natural inclination to be a great leader, who thrives on driving a culture of continuous improvement and supporting management to ensure a safe and smooth daily business operation.

This position will support the afternoon shift team and your working hours will be 4pm to 12am; Monday to Friday.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Monitoring movement to meet operational demands and schedules">
  • Coordinating with drivers and dispatchers to ensure timely delivery and pick up schedules">
  • Promoting a safe, positive work environment whilst maintaining alignment with company policies">
  • Ensuring all legislative requirements are met">

About You

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • Previous experience in transport, logistics, refrigerated freight movements and allocations">
  • Knowledge of transport regulations including Fatigue, Chain of Responsibility and Mass and Maintenance under NHVR">
  • Proficient user or transport systems and MS Office">
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment">
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve overall objectives of a business">
  • Energetic, passionate and enthusiastic with a demonstrated focus on system improvement">
  • Flexibility to take calls as required on weekends">
  • Current Drivers Licence">
