Transportation Operations Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading community transport service provider in the Sutherland Shire, dedicated to providing high-quality transportation for vulnerable residents.
The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage driver and vehicle allocation, and collaborate with the team to ensure seamless communication.
Job Responsibilities:
- Efficiently allocate drivers and vehicles to align with customer bookings and requirements.
- Analyse data to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Optimise vehicle and driver allocation for maximum fleet utilisation and cost efficiency.
- Provide exemplary service to customers, resolving scheduling and dispatch issues promptly.
- Liaise with internal teams and customers to ensure seamless communication.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customer service and operations analysis, preferably in transportation or logistics.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of transport, route, or scheduling management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and IT skills.
- Current driver's license.
