Position Overview:

We are looking for a qualified Facility Manager to oversee operations at our aged care facility. This is a full-time role that offers the chance to be part of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional care.

We are expanding our services across Victoria, New South Wales, and Tasmania, with numerous facilities and thousands of residents and staff. Additionally, we provide home care services in various states and manage over 700 units in retirement villages and independent living communities.

Role Responsibilities:

The Facility Manager will be accountable for the daily operations, personnel management, and related activities within the facility. This role ensures that all care services and support functions are delivered in alignment with Respect's values, policies, and procedures. The manager will also oversee the facility's adherence to budgetary constraints, accreditation standards, compliance, and reporting obligations. The successful candidate will receive support from a specialized corporate services team, including experts in clinical care, quality assurance, finance, human resources, procurement, maintenance, and catering.

Qualifications:

Essential Criteria:

  1. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Registered Nurse)
  2. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  3. At least 3 years of experience in residential aged care
  4. Comprehensive understanding of the Quality Agency Standards, Aged Care Act requirements, and relevant legislation
  5. Strong communication abilities
  6. Solid clinical expertise in line with contemporary practices
  7. Current National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain)
  8. Prior experience in nursing management

To be eligible for employment with Respect, candidates must meet the legislative requirements for Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability for the aged care sector.
