Ice Cream Production Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Ice Cream Production Specialist to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role will play a pivotal part in our mission to craft the most delicious homemade ice cream, spreading smiles across customers' faces time after time.

  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about ice cream, with a willingness to learn on the job and contribute unique flavour ideas.

About the Role

As an Ice Cream Production Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing ice cream 'bases' from ingredients using processes like pasteurisation and churning with top-notch Italian equipment. You will work closely with our Baker to mix chunks and swirls into our homemade ice cream, ensuring a consistent and high-quality product.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing ice cream bases from ingredients using pasteurisation and churning processes.
  • Mixing chunks and swirls into our homemade ice cream with our Baker.
  • Keeping our kitchen spic and span, ensuring a clean workspace for finding favourite ingredients.
  • Contribute unique flavour ideas, whether twists on classics or innovative concoctions.

Requirements

  • Passion for ice cream, openness to learn on the job, and enthusiasm for creativity.
  • Kitchen experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday in a shift schedule, occasional overtime available over summer.
  • Knack for keeping things organised and clean, crucial for our ice cream magic.
