About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity located in Brisbane CBD.

As a Corporate Finance Analyst, you will support strategic investment decisions and financial performance in Queensland's dynamic energy sector.

Key activities include:

  • Developing and maintaining financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, assess financial performance, and support forecasting and budgeting functions to enable data-driven decision making across the organisation.
  • Supporting the development of financial models, preparation of reports and dashboards, and delivery of insights that inform strategic investment decisions and improve financial performance.
  • Conducting scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate the financial impact of different strategic options, assess risks and uncertainties, and support informed decision making under varying market and operational conditions.
  • Collaborating across various teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure financial models and analysis reflect operational realities and strategic priorities across the business.
About You

We are seeking an individual with a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, commerce, accounting, business or mathematics.

  • A strong foundation in intermediate Excel and financial modelling capability, with experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial models.
  • A desireable background in the energy sector.
  • An understanding of derivatives and trading products.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with a proven track record of building strong working relationships across diverse teams and influencing decision making through well-structured insights.
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
