Aerodrome Maintenance Program Sponsorship Opportunity

The Aerodromes Maintenance Program Sponsor plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with DASR.139 regulations across certified RAAF Aerodromes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and maintaining the Aerodrome Maintenance Support Network with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organizing workflow and making independent decisions regarding airbase infrastructure specifications and standards.
  • Liaising with agencies such as CASA, SEG, and Defence Contractors on Aerodrome maintenance and competency requirements.
  • Identifying, reporting, and tracking progress of aerodrome specifications, configuration management, and personnel competency requirements for undertaking maintenance activities.

The APS6 Aerodrome Maintenance Program Sponsor will engage with stakeholders to identify, respond to, and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes.
