Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to our engineering team, ensuring that our software solutions are designed and implemented to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Architecture and Design: Develop and maintain the overall architecture of our software solutions, ensuring that they are scalable, secure, and meet the needs of our customers.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to ensure that our software solutions meet the needs of our customers.
  • Problem-Solving and Innovation: Identify and solve complex technical problems, and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship: Share your knowledge and expertise with our engineering team, and mentor junior engineers to help them grow and develop in their careers.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a technical architect or similar.
  • Strong knowledge in software engineering with extensive experience working with cross-functional teams in designing and delivering end-to-end software.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide the implementation of technical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remove technical roadblocks for engineering teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of coding and design best practices.
  • Proven experience planning and facilitating workshops.
  • Expertise in creating comprehensive technical and functional documentation.
  • Understanding of engineering tools and software.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, SAFe or similar).
  • Broad understanding of technologies in the developer ecosystem, including IDEs, developer frameworks, and multiple language stacks.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native technologies and solutions.
  • Good understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and deployment.
  • Understanding of DevOps philosophy, practices, tools, and ways of securing DevOps processes (e.g., DevSecOps or Rugged DevOps).
  • Proficiency in automation tools, infrastructure-as-code, and configuration-as-code.
  • Knowledge of databases, containers, container orchestration, and container hardening.
