About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Spray Painter to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a trade-qualified individual to undertake high-quality workmanship, ensuring vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to working safely, and the ability to work effectively with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Colour mixing and matching vehicles after preparation and painting.
  • Building and maintaining a colour library.
  • Preparing, priming, and painting vehicles according to job sheet requirements, following paint supplier processes.
  • Buffing and denibbing vehicles.
  • Carefully handling all vehicles.
  • Notating extra paint work not quoted for.
  • Reporting old damage or poor previous repairs to the production manager.
  • Cleaning work bays and workshop areas.
  • Coaching apprentices when required.

About You:

  • Trade-qualified Spray Painter.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working as a trade-qualified Spray Painter.
  • Strong commitment to working safely.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the team.
  • Meet strict deadlines.
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
  • Own tools necessary for the role.
