About the Role

The Cluster Revenue Management Analyst is a key position within Accor Hotels, responsible for analyzing revenue and demand associated with hotels. This role plays a crucial part in preparing forecasts, budgets, and weekly and daily projections, as well as analyzing the progress of each hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Analysis
    • Provides revenue analysis functional expertise to property leadership teams.
    • Extracts and analyzes data to draw viable and actionable business conclusions.
    • Prepares sales strategy critiques.
    • Manages all revenue, profit, and demand data associated with rooms and function space.
    • Prepares revenue and profit opportunity analysis.
    • Provides recommendations to improve the effectiveness of revenue analysis processes.
    • Assists in the preparation of competitive analysis and other supporting documents for presentation at market sales strategy meetings.
    • Performs all Revenue Management month-end reporting and auditing, providing forward-looking information for forecasting, targeting need areas, and balancing financial expectations.
    • Accurately generates, processes, and updates revenue management reports, serving as the primary source for the majority of reporting and analytical needs of the Revenue Management team.
  • Inventory Management
    • Assists in the management of room inventory, rates, and restrictions to maximize room revenue.
    • Assists with system maintenance, including inputting rate hurdles, monitoring forecasted demand, updating group forecasting, and running daily system checks.
    • Assists in the implementation of hotel sales strategy in the reservation and inventory systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (finance/analytical background or studies).
  • Proven experience in reservation management and revenue analysis within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in revenue management software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and a strategic mindset.
