About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated mental health professional to join our integrated stepped care model in Mackay, Queensland. Our team is committed to delivering client-centred services that cater to the diverse needs of individuals in remote communities.

  • The role requires a strong focus on cultural sensitivity and adaptability, as well as excellent communication and connection skills.
  • A commitment to a new way of working in the mental health sector is essential.
  • First Nations Australians, people with lived experience, those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and/or members of the LGBTQI+ community are warmly welcomed as part of our team.

You will be working collaboratively with colleagues across Queensland to provide comprehensive mental health assessment, treatment, and case coordination services.

  • Dedicated individual with a solid sense of commitment to working collaboratively and connecting with people in remote communities.
  • Culturally sensitive and adaptable approach.
  • High-level communication and connection skills.
  • Genuine commitment to a new way of working in the mental health sector.
  • Ability to work effectively with First Nations Australians, people with lived experience, those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and/or members of the LGBTQI+ community.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Registered Psychologists (Provisional Psychologists welcome).
  • Mental Health Accredited Nurse (Mental Health Nurses eligible or working towards ACMHN considered).
  • Mental Health Accredited Social Workers.
  • Mental Health Occupational Therapists.
