An accomplished Restaurant General Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring seamless front of house operations. This encompasses managing staff, overseeing the restaurant and bar, and maintaining a positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Staff Management: Train, roster, and manage staff to ensure excellent service and quality.
- Operations: Run the restaurant, bar, and functions, adhering to occupational health and safety (OHS) and food hygiene procedures.
- Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to build sales and revenue while controlling costs.
- Guest Experience: Ensure superior service and quality to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Team Leadership: Drive a positive working environment and lead by example as a senior restaurant leader.
- Hospitality management experience (1 year+).
- Experience in bar and restaurant environments.
- Financial management skills.
- Leadership and team development abilities.
- RSA, RSG, TAB basics & advanced certifications.
- First aid certificate (preferred).
- Approved managers' certificate (preferred).
