- Essential Education: Enrolled Nurse Certificate
- Desired Education: Specialised training or courses in specific areas of interest.
- Essential Minimum Experience: None required.
- Desired Experience: 1 year of post-qualification experience before placement in a specialised unit.
- Basic life support trained.
- Infection prevention and control measures.
- Pharmacology knowledge.
- Scientific nursing principles and processes.
- Patient assessment skills.
- Nursing processes and procedures.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
- Relevant nursing legislation.
- Nursing care plan skills.
