Remote Healthcare Opportunity

The Northern Territory Remote Locum Program is dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in remote communities across the Northern Territory.

We are seeking experienced Dentists to provide dental treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities. This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

  • Fully paid locum placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks, based in remote NT communities, with travel and accommodation covered.
  • Cultural orientation and 24/7 support to help you transition into remote healthcare.
  • Free CPD-accredited eLearning with a rural medicine college.
Key Requirements
  • A current NT Radiation License or application for one.
  • A minimum of 2 years postgraduate clinical experience in a relevant setting.
  • At least 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience as a dentist within the past 12 months.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
