Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of lawyers to ensure timely, accurate, and risk-based legal services are delivered.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the management of the legal area, including practice management and staff development.
  • Work collaboratively as a member of the legal area's leadership team, promoting the strategic direction and demonstrating the core values of the Australian Government.
Requirements
  • A degree in law from an Australian tertiary institution or a comparable overseas qualification.
  • Admission as a legal practitioner in an Australian Court.
  • Eligibility to hold a restricted Government practising certificate.
