Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Facilities Coordinator to join our team in Sydney. This role is responsible for managing and coordinating the repair, service, and maintenance of all Device Technologies Australia premises.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Management: Ensure our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
- Problem Resolution: Receive, manage, and process building service requests to resolve problems quickly.
- Contractor Management: Obtain quotes, coordinate, escort, and supervise contractors for repairs and maintenance.
- Licenses and Certifications: Maintain up-to-date licenses, certificates, and permits for trades working on our premises.
- Landlord Liaison: Communicate with landlords/agents for access and repairs to base building equipment.
- Furniture and Equipment: Manage office furniture repairs, new requests, and moving of furnishings.
- Equipment Testing: Test and tag equipment in the NSW office and manage testing and tagging of interstate locations.
- WH&S: Collaborate with the DT WH&S team on WH&S issues related to building maintenance activities.
- Vehicle Management: Manage company van bookings, vehicle maintenance, registration, servicing, and repairs.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an equipment register and ensure it's up-to-date.
- Purchase Orders: Create building services-related purchase orders.
- Grocery Management: Order and maintain grocery levels at the Belrose office.
- CCTV and Security: Support the management of Device security and camera systems, including after-hours call-outs.
We're looking for a proactive and reliable Facilities Coordinator who can work autonomously and as part of a team. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements- General Handyman Skills: Experience with general handyman tasks.
- Valid Driver's License: A current valid driver's license is essential.
- Can-Do Attitude: A positive and proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Process Creation: Capability to create and follow written processes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
- Test and Tag License: A test and tag license would be beneficial.
- First Aid Certificate: A first aid certificate would be desirable.
- SAP Experience: Experience with SAP would be an advantage.
$65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
