About This Role

We are seeking a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the implementation of insurance solutions aligns with business objectives.

This role involves translating business needs into clear functional requirements and overseeing the architecture and design of insurance platforms using Duck Creek technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables;
  • Develop and maintain an end-to-end understanding of business processes and their alignment with Duck Creek solutions;
  • Design scalable and flexible architectures to meet current and future business needs.
  • Elicit and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and process analysis;
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for configuration and development teams;
  • Validate requirements with stakeholders and prioritize deliverables;
  • Guide and oversee the design, development and configuration of Duck Creek components, including Policy, Billing, Claims, and Insights;
  • Define architectural standards, guidelines and best practices;
  • Ensure proper integration with CRM, data warehouses, and external APIs;
  • Act as the primary point of contact between business teams and IT/technical teams;
  • Provide technical advice and support to business users during the project lifecycle;
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and solution demonstrations;
  • Collaborate with QA teams to define test strategies, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and resolve issues related to functionality or design;
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to end-users and maintain detailed documentation of the architecture, configurations, and operational processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in insurance domain processes with at least 5 years of implementation experience;
  • Hands-on experience in Duck Creek Policy, Billing, Claims, and/or Insights modules;
  • Proven experience as a Business Architect or similar role within technology and business domains;
  • Strong knowledge of Duck Creek Author, Rating, Forms, and other platform capabilities;
  • Familiarity with integration technologies such as APIs, web services, and middleware solutions;
  • Proficiency in data modelling, workflow design, and business process analysis;
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills;
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities;
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
