We are looking for a Registered Nurse - On Call
We seek a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an On Call professional. In this role, you will provide direct patient care services and supportive care to patients' families after normal business hours. You will also manage an interdisciplinary group to enhance the quality of hospice care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to patients' families after normal business hours on an on-call basis.
- Manage an interdisciplinary group consisting of Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and support staff to enhance the quality of hospice care.
- Evaluate patient/family needs and assist in the preparation and execution of the plan of care for each patient.
- Maintain all assigned patient clinical records.
- Participate in company quality assessment and performance improvement programs.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. A current RN license (in the state of requested employment or ability to obtain) is required. 1+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology is preferred.
