About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICT Risk and Audit Manager to join our team at Queensland Health. As a key member of our Governance, Assurance and Information Management Branch, you will play a critical role in driving high-value corporate governance and reporting, specifically in relation to risk management and internal audit activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies and frameworks to ensure the effective management of ICT-related risks.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on risk management and internal audit matters to senior executives and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including the Director Resilience and Assurance, to ensure the successful delivery of risk management and internal audit activities.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify opportunities for improvement in corporate governance and reporting.
  • Develop and implement effective communication and consultation strategies to ensure that stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the risk management and internal audit process.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in risk management within an ICT environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply data, technology, and innovation to support business improvement.
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead a team and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management ability, with a proven track record of driving high-value corporate governance and reporting.
