We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team. In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital part in developing individualized programs that enhance the physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural, and social well-being of our residents.

About the Role

The Lifestyle Coordinator will be responsible for leading and participating in the delivery of engaging activities, preparing thorough lifestyle assessments, and ensuring complete documentation of resident participation. You'll also have the opportunity to manage and coach the lifestyle team to deliver top-notch activities.

You will work closely with residents, families, and volunteers to foster strong relationships and ensure that every individual feels valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized lifestyle programs based on resident needs, preferences, and goals
  • Lead and participate in the delivery of engaging activities, including games, arts, and crafts, and other leisure pursuits
  • Prepare thorough and accurate lifestyle assessments of residents, identifying their strengths, interests, and abilities
  • Ensure complete and timely documentation of resident participation and engagement, using a computerized care management system
  • Manage and coach the lifestyle team to deliver exceptional service and support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or equivalent qualification)
  • Previous experience in a lifestyle coordination or assistant role, preferably in aged care
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on finding solutions that benefit everyone involved
