Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned electrical engineer to contribute to our team's diverse range of projects. As a senior electrical engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on multi-disciplinary initiatives, including those related to battery minerals and plant optimization.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and marking up technical drawings, providing construction and commissioning support, and preparing and maintaining project documentation.

  • Experience in heavy industry electrical and instrumentation design is essential.
  • Ability to prepare detailed designs, work packs/scopes of work, and reports is required.
  • Site experience in investigations, scoping, commissioning, and contractor management is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for regular client interaction.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience as an engineer in Australia.
  • Expertise in designing and specifying electrical and instrumentation equipment for hazardous areas.
  • Proficiency in conducting early-stage studies for electrical and instrumentation systems, including electrical system calculations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience as an engineer in Australia.
  • Registered/Chartered Engineer status with RPEQ preferable.
  • Knowledge of control systems design.
